The images I create refer to daily situations and decisions one can be made to face.

My parents of Asian origin grew up in East Africa, forced to exile Uganda in 1973 they relocated in England when I was three years of age. Since 1998, I have chosen to settled and live in Copenhagen, Denmark.

These dislocations, displacements and uprooting together with the richness in the range of cultures, languages and life styles I have encountered play an important part in the works of art I produce.

I use a wide range of materials within my creations. I enjoy the use of magnets for example, so strongly attracted to each other, yet so easily repelled. The ideas of planting, nurturing and growing enjoying ones harvest. The idea of ones senses and of building ones castle.

I hope that you enjoy the works on this website, responses are welcome.
